The Single Girl’s Valentine Day Guide

Whoever said that Valentine’s Day is restricted for couples? Challenge Cupid this year and indulge yourself in these six solo pursuits, guaranteed to make you look forward to several more Valentine Days!!!

1. Round up the gang
I bet you aren’t the only single one in your friend circle. Round up all your male and female single friends. Dress up in your quirkiest and ‘girliest’ bold dress and get out there and have a blast.

2. Movie Mania
Indulge yourself to some celeb romancing. Pick out all your favorite celeb movies and spend the night with candle light swooning over your hot celeb hunk.

3. Crazy Cupid
This is much like Secret Santa. Round up all your friends – single or just those fun couples willing to participate and play a game of Crazy Cupid.

Put down the name of all your friends and yourself in chits. Every friend picks up a name each and becomes crazy cupid for the one he/she has picked. Fix a budget in advance and purchase a gift for the person whose name you’ve got in the chit. Keeping the name a secret till the 14th is more fun! Now create another bowl of chits with dares in it. Example: I first pick a chit with a name. I then pick a chit with a dare like ‘make up a crazy love song rhyming with the name you’ve picked.

On the 14th, head to a fun pub, where you and your friends can hang out and make as much noise as possible. Dress up in your favorite mini dress and play Crazy Cupid. Don’t forget to click a lot of pics.

4. Indulge Yourself

Who said pampering is only for couples. Since you are not spending your money on some guy, you might as well spend it all in pampering yourself .Head out on the 14th and spend a day pampering your self. Get a massage and get your hair done in that style you always wanted. Buy a gorgeous new gown or better still order one from an internet site. Spray yourself with your favorite perfume. Head out to a club. Who knows, you may attract more than a single pair of interested eyes!
5. Date

Ask a single guy friend out on a platonic date. Choose a nice quiet place; dress up in a gorgeous floor length evening gown just like you would for a normal date. Head out with your friend and do something fun like rate the couples around you (there will be plenty!). Don’t forget to split the bill!
6. Party
There is nothing more fun than a single’s party. Select a fun theme for your party. Let the alcohol flow and don’t forget the wine, appetizers and plenty of gossiping. A girl’s night out to celebrate your freedom is the perfect way to toast to your singledom!
